Sudhir Choudhrie is a businessman and Philanthropist who has been involved in several activities like commerce, diplomacy, and politics. He was born and raised in India but lived in the UK with his wife and has two children. Sudhir founded Magnum International Trading Company Ltd, which focuses on evaluating and expanding India’s market export. He is also involved in the hospitality industry, where he established a joint venture with Taj Hotels Resorts.
Sudhir Choudhrie has made many achievements thought out his professional life; some of them include; the involvement of strategic alliances between the UK and India and consulting on behalf of India to the UK party leaders, one that he also supported. He is a member of the Green Templeton College at Oxford University, has organized an annual Symposium, with the College, on Developing Markets, and is involved in several charities in education and health areas across India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Sudhir Choudhrie is currently an Executive Director at Magnum International Trading Company and Vice Chairman at Alpha Corp Development Private Limited. This company operated as a real estate company. He previously was the Chairman at Ebookers Plc, a hospitality-based company, and founded Stellar International Art Foundation with his wife.
Choudhrie was diagnosed with a heart condition where an anomaly gene was found, and he had to undergo a heart transplant to survive. After this, he and his family founded a family foundation that helped the lives of organ donors and recipients. The foundation also urged people to become donors, which was to change the lives of so many. The purpose of the Choudhrie Family Foundation is not only to fund educational and medical health developments but also to support cardio-vascular medicine research and thus bring improvement that will help and change the medical world.
